I dropped into the GLAM show at Earls Court, that was on just for the weekend. You could road test all sorts of girlie stuff to turn yourself into a glamour puss. Everything from beauty, makeup and anti-ageing treatments, fashion shows and advice, and tips for hair and style. You could go in feeling “Sunday slobby” and leave transformed top to toe as there were clothes on sale as well!

A great way to spend a Sunday, whatever your age. I bumped into a mum with her young teenage daughter who had just auditioned for the new series of TV’s Britain’s got Talent. They told me they had both loved visiting the show.
