#Interiordesign #styling #style ideas for sitting room living and dining spaces

The Farrah & Ball paint colour palette of muted greys, was the deciding factor of how I staged/styled this Fulham house's double drawing room. The look is lived-in, homely, characterful & classy-not modern, minimal or impersonal. The end of the drawing room nearest to us is perfect as a study area, as i did not want it simply to ba an extended passageway to the kitchen/dining-room, To create the gentleman's sudy/library feel I added a 'bookshelves' screen behind the client's vintage leather chair with a statement oversized Anglepoise-style light. The tartan throw & cushion add colour & texture. The thick pile rug is neutral  & conveys cosiness in front of the fireplace. The shabby chic desk is by Littletree furniture & fits beautifully into the colour scheme & style of the room. The painted chair is a vintage find, whilst the black desk lamp pulls the black accessories in the rest of the room together. The pair of grey painted chandeliers are understated, & blend with the colours & styling of the room.
