My beautiful Isle of Wight seaside house is featured in the August issue of “25 Beautiful Homes” magazine which is out now in July.
I have lovingly interior-styled this family home over the last few years, and completely re-designed the garden into a tropical oasis around the swimming pool and poolside cabins,
But the time has now come to sell up and move on and to find a new design and build project in Bembridge,IOW for my family and I to live in.

This property is also featured on Rightmove and Zoopla and Jenny Turnbull Estate agents

With the success of my Ceril Campbell, Style Your Life, lifestyle and celebrity style business spanning 30 years, where I created style transformations for A-list stars including Ringo Starr, Darcey Bussell CBE, Zara Phillips and Serena Williams and consulted for style projects to worldwide brands such as Sony, Schwarzkopf, Deloitte and the BBC, I found clients were asking me to add Interior design, Property build transformations and Home-staging to my lifestyle services.  So I did!

The same design criteria apply in creating a stylish lasting first impression that wows.
Whether it’s for the actual client personally, or for their property.
Their home is an extension of their personality.

I like to understand clients’ lifestyle, budget, goals and aspirations.
Their requirements in what they wish to achieve with my expertise and within budget.
I work with proportion and balance, light and shade for a successful end result of best first impressions.

First impressions are all important.

The art of Illusion is also key.
Room interiors and body shape proportions both need clever tricks to enhance and disguise and create balance in designing the overall look and the final dressing.
North or South facing rooms, and our facial skin tones both require specific colour choices to reflect light and enhance.

I also take the following into consideration:

A property’s current value and likely end value before and after build or staging.
A property’s location. It is pointless to overspend on building works if the property value is capped, due to where it is situated.

I can improve a property’s value with a small or big transformation, according to budget and time,
working with an architect and builders on a design and build project
with an instant style makeover or simply a de-clutter.
with home staging, and creative use of furniture, furnishings, artwork and accessories,
I can make a dull space interesting, demonstrate how a large empty space can be divided into living areas, how a tired unloved ex-rental property can be shown to be once again to be a desirable comfortable family home that is attractive to buyers, at a premium price.

Home staging, furnishing and styling an empty property to sell, offers prospective purchasers a glimpse into how they could live in this property.

My transformations are never impersonal or formulaic, but offer warmth and individuality, showing an aspirational lifestyle appealing and targeted specifically to the likely property applicants in each area.

These are the before and after photos of the ground floor of my client design and build project in Fulham.
From one big unloved open plan space, mostly used as storage rather than for living, the Architect and I created 2 double bedrooms with a master bathroom and cloakroom/shower room
The after photos are not styled or furnished by myself, but simply photos of the not-yet cohesively furnished interiors.

This is the area which was turned into a shower room/cloakroom on the left hand side and the master bedroom on the right hand side in front of the window

Here are some before/after views of the ground floor
It was similar to finishing a difficult jigsaw to create and design small spaces that felt roomy.

and to become the guest shower room/wet room as well as the main guest cloakroom for the house.

The angled mirror is not part of the final room design, just temporarily placed there for safety.

The ground floor of this live/work space was one big open space which the client wished to become 2 bedrooms, master bathroom/shower and guest shower room/cloakroom

Other wishes were storage, neutral colours, classic, functional, with mood lighting that can be dimmed throughout.

This is the master bathroom/shower after build with a free standing roll top bath at one end of the room.

With a generous sized walk in shower at the other end of the room.

This is how the shower area looked during the build

This is the view of the kitchen area that was originally the study/ seating area
We took out the partition walls and shower room  and moved the galley kitchen from the far end of the room to create a modern minimal kitchen area, with Shaker-style units in keeping with the style of the property

2014-12-23 11.30.12-55

The original dining area is now a cosy seating area that will have new sofas set around the log burner
(The client has not yet finished unpacking his boxes, paintings and furniture or buying his new pieces)
The walls of the former galley kitchen  are now opened up to create an l-shape area for a desk and a large flat screen TV that can be viewed from anywhere in the room

To achieve this final open plan living space new bannisters have been added where walls have been removed.

This client’s property is a converted industrial workspace that was used as a live/work space for many years. The brief is to turn this building into a comfortable home, utilising the space in the best possible way to create a 2 bedroom- 2 bath house, cost effectively. No rooms have right-angled corners, or are traditional shapes.

20140723_1204201st floor sitting area out on to the roof terrace.
There is a fitted storage unit before the partition wall which hides the desk, work area.

The dining area is at the far end of the room. Either side of the staircase (opposite the structural post) are partition stud walls behind which are a shower room and galley kitchen.

The galley kitchen houses the main boiler and has limited cooking and storage space.
