Bring on Summer! 
Missing my training last Summer by the beach. Back to the exercise studio today for a barrecore class.  @misslucy_lou the bichonXwestie is missing the beach too.

I try to do some type of exercise and training at least 4 days a week together with a healthy eating regime. Pilates for core and glute  strength especially and overall body alignment. Boxing for HIIT. Barre class for core glutes and toning. Abd if no time for anything else a short brisk walk.

Loved Ice skating at the Isle of Wight rink before it closed down over a year ago. This is one of my efforts from then and before my weightloss journey too.
Lots of open air Christmas rinks open now.
Will post my recent effort at the Natiral History Museum later today.
Its great exercise for core stability and glutes. 
Also a sense of achievement the longer one stays upright!

In the Pilates studio

In the Pilates studio.

Lunges with your weight on an unstable base.
This helps all the muscles and core engage from your balancing foot ankle and leg to your core and glutes and tum.

However...on another level
It has just been suggested to me by my hip surgeon that anyone like me who has had a hip re-surface surgery procedure and has metal on metal in their hip -this could be having adverse effects as the flexion movement on the weight bearing leg can cause the metal on metal to rub more than usual.
Metal on metal hip replacements and resurfaces can cause metal ions (cobalt and chromium) to leak into the blood stream and give metal ion readings in the blood above normal levels. This could  cause future health issues.
