The SOHA transformational retreat 2023

The SOHA transformational retreat 2023

I didn’t take any photos or videos of the retreat guest experiences as I firmly believe that paid guest privacy should be valued – especially at a ‘transformational retreat’ when women are allowing themselves to be open and vulnerable – and need a safe space.

This kind of retreat may not be for everyone, especially if you are expecting a ‘premium’ price level traditional spa-style retreat.
If you want structure, time keeping, and exactly ‘what it says on the tin’ – then you may be disappointed.
However, I believe that everyone can find the positive in every situation and can gain from experiences outside their comfort zone – especially when the truly excellent psychotherapists and therapists are passionate in their work of transforming people’s mindsets and lives for the better.

And a special thank you to @clarewhittaker_hearts for her massage and reflexology treatments
And
@danielle.kedward for her lovely breathwork session and angel cards.

to January 2020

It could be the same post 2 years on but a differemt journey that I've just been on...

Small steps.
.
When life is tough don't give up.
It's easy in January to make all those unrealistic resolutions and set yourself up to fail.
.
So start your journey with small steps.
A step by step change of thinking.
.
It could be that you want to:
Change your life.
Become fitter, healthier.
It could be anything........
.
Start each day when you wake up to be grateful for 3 things in your life. That way the day will begin on a positive note.
.
Remove any negativity and replace with positivity and the possibilities of what you can achieve with each of those small steps.
.
Be the master of your own destiny.
.
.

Making the most of my last few weeks out and about - no crutches- before my op.

Feeling a Bohemian vibe wearing this new Zara dress

Feeling a Bohemian vibe wearing this new Zara dress.
.
I could be pregnant with twins under it - but that would be a miracle - - or hiding any number of things under its volumes of fabric.
.
It's not a sexy dress or a flattering dress for anyone with boobs as it hangs straight from them - but it's cool and airy with a fun print and vibrant colours that bring joy to the wearer.
.
Is it too young a dress to wear at the age of 66? Who cares - I am enjoying wearing it.
.
When we enjoy and feel good wearing a particular item of clothing - we as women - feel confident, positive and empowered.
.
This is a happy dress.

My personal Covid lockdown story out this week ( written by myself) on the online website www

My personal Covid lockdown story out this week ( written by myself) on the online website www.femalefirst.co.uk- in the books and authors section.
.
How my debut novel "Secrets in the Dark" came to be finished, edited and published as a result of being ill with the virus and in self- isolation from my family and friends from March onwards.
.
It just goes to show that even when faced with challenging circumstances always remain positive and never give up.
.
It's never too late to start a new career even at age 65.
