Lobster with gluten free, wheat free buckwheat and sweet potato pasta, smashed avocado with chillies, wilted spinach and olive oil.
Yummy and healthy.

Healthy eating Sunday brunch inspo.

Scrambled eggs, avocado, tomatoes, mushrooms, and spinach or Kale ( your choice) . All cooked in organic butter or coconut butter. 
Hot water and lemon for liver cleanse to start and an Expresso coffee after.

Sometimes when you fancy an instant homemade curry.

Found this packet curry soup in the Health food shop which had all natural ingredients, no additives wheat or sugar and was properly delicious. 
I simply added boiled water to the powder. 
It had turmeric, cumin and chiĺli, all excellent anti-inflammatory spices and great for health and weight loss.
To make the soup more of a substantial supper I added some cauliflower, broccoli and spinach and cashew nuts.

Grilled Squid Steak with squid ink, roasted beetroot, salad
Grilled over charcoal and served with a yuzu lime, szechwan pepper, lemongrass & galangal dressing.
And 'Merus' from the largest part of the crab leg grilled with butter and hollandaise sauce with triple cooked fries ( I didnt eat them).
With a side of Steamed Kale Roasted anchovy & bone marrow butter
Just delcious!

Final night of the 7 day regime @grayshottspa .

Yummy healthy last supper of ginger spiced breast of duck with rainbow chard, savoy cabbage and fig sauce with a side of mixed vegetables. 
Green pea and mint soup to start.

The Grayshott regime teaches you how you can incorporate healthy nutritious but still delicious food into your daily life. 
Eating proteins, complex carbohydrates ( vegetables) and good fats ( olive oil, coconut oil, olives, nuts, seeds and oily fish ) and fermented foods such as sauerkraut and kefir ( for gut health)  whilst excluding sugar and grains. ( and most dairy whilst on the regime) However onwards you can include butter and unpasteurised and well matured cheeses into your daily life as good fats in moderation are important for weightloss.  A low fat diet will cause your body to store fat as it will think its in starvation mode and  needs to keep all available fats to survive. 
I lost 4 pounds during my stay eating 3 meals a day as seen over the last week of posts with 2 fast days (5:2) of no breakfast, a large lunch and a bone broth for supper. 
Nevet felt hungry once.
Today I feel healthy, renewed, invigorated, lighter, and positive in my mindset to go out and face 2018 with energy and enthusiasm 
And to help my clients look and feel their best from inside out.

A regime morning @grayshottspa

A regime morning @grayshottspa . 
Breaking the 5:2 fast with breakfast of spiced cured salmon with avocado and butter bean houmous ( no coffee)! Yummy and super healthy with omega 3 and good fats.

A swim in the indoor pool, a plunge in the very cold but invigorating icy plunge pool after a steam room. All fitted in befire a 16 minute  hydrotherapy bath with Epsom salts which are great for magnesium, detoxification and relaxation.

Lunch is a buternut, chilli and lime soup followed by cold salmon with green baby pea shoots, a walnut dip and a designer swoosh of pureed beetroot. Accompanied with a rainbow mix of vegetables for vits ACE and zinc with their health giving benefits as antioxidants.

Of course digestive bitters and sauerkraut to start to get those digestive juices working for good gut health and a few soaked mixed nuts (and some olives) for their good fats.

So as you can see a Grayshott regime is by no means a starvation diet and there is still a 2 course dinner later after a pilates class.

No grains, no sugar, no milk, 
but simply protein, healthy fats,  vegetables,, fibre, nuts and fermented foods all helping the body to become its optimum best with a healthy functioning gut.
