Tbt to when I was probably around 15 or 16 years old

Tbt to when I was probably around 15 or 16 years old.
.
When there was no social media, comparison anxiety, face-tune, filters, body-shaming, body-image worries or a need to feel compelled to look a certain way, to be a certain size or body shape.
.
We all wanted to look our best and wear the latest fashions. .
We didn't eat fast food as it didn't really exist yet, or snack continuously throughout the day. .
So weight issues were less than nowadays as we ate a healthier and less processed diet. .

Throwback to me in a Halloween party costume a hundred years ago

Throwback to me in a Halloween party costume a hundred years ago. Maybe I was around age 26.....
.
Think the dress code may have been tarts and vicars!
I'm obviously not the vicar.

Tbt To outside the Jean Machine on London’s Kings road circa 1970

Tbt
To outside the Jean Machine on London's Kings road circa 1970.
.
Note the 70s fashions of:
Big collar
Patchwork denim shirt
Denim on denim
Cowboy belt
Chunky silver bracelet
Bellbottom jeans
Platform boots .
And... what was I thinking about? ( my facial expression is a picture in itself)! Or ...
What was I waiting for?
Think I was working there as my out of school Saturday job at the time.
Your thoughts? .

#Tbt Me age 15 and age 28

Me age 15 and age 28.
.
.
These photos are pre-social media when there were no filters on photos and no pressures to look a certain way. .
Of course there were those who were skinny too and those who were fat but no-one judged or had anywhere to post photos that weren't real. The only place to post a photo was in a personal photo album which stayed in your living room. .

No-one exercised, worked out or went to gyms in the same 'addicted to fitness' way so our bodies were a different shape and less toned than gym bodies of nowadays. .
Maybe we did ballet or horse riding or swam or did some form of sport at school and beyond but only for our personal enjoyment. Not with the same end goals to have the perfect Instagram body. .
We didn't compare or judge.
No pressures to look a certain way.
We were happier and more confident in our body image then.
Free to be who we were. .
