Midday today, 16 hours after yesterday evening’s last meal at 8pm. The 16hour fasting time gives the gut and body time to have a break from digesting food and if continued 2 days consecutively can help weight loss, gut health and overall wellbeing.
Found this packet curry soup in the Health food shop which had all natural ingredients, no additives wheat or sugar and was properly delicious.
I simply added boiled water to the powder.
It had turmeric, cumin and chiĺli, all excellent anti-inflammatory spices and great for health and weight loss.
To make the soup more of a substantial supper I added some cauliflower, broccoli and spinach and cashew nuts.
Spinach and cheese omelette , with organic eggs, organic spinach leaves and unpasteurised Gruyere cooked in organic unpasteurised butter.
Protein, good complex carbs and good fats for optimum weightloss together with HIIT exercise and 16/18 twice weekly fast days.
Aged and unpasteurised cheese and fermented foods also good for gut health -(but avoid unpasteurised snd soft cheeses if pregnant).
Make the beef or veggie mince however you wish and alternate layers of the squash slices as you would when making lasagne.
You could also add layers of grated cheese and white sauce if you like to make it more like a proper lasagne.
I have used a mixture of cheeses on the top to make a lovely melted cheese crusty top.
I suggest to my clients to commence each meal with a teaspoon of Sauerkraut to aid digestion and gut health. I’ve added some ‘good oil’ for additional Omega3 for its anti-inflammatory properties, healthy joints and brain function.
This homecooked breakfast consists of Portobello mushrooms, wilted organic spinach leaves, an organic 2-egg omelette cooked in coconut oil with chopped chives for added flavour and some Isle of Wight tomatoes.
