Good morning Sunday

Good morning Sunday.

A makeup free face no filters. .
Over the last month I had 5 x BDR facials at the lovely Elena's Fulham aesthetics beauty clinic Elenique.
.
I've been using the BDR products regularly every day. Cleanser, toner, 2 x serums and a moisturiser. Seemed a lot of products to use twice a day at the beginning as I'm all about speed as never have time to faff around, but 
I' ve got used to the routine now and even managed to fit an exfoliation in one evening too. .
My skin tone seems improved, maybe a bit firmer and plumper, still have wrinkles but I wasn't hoping for a miracle.

10 facials apparently is the best for optimum results with occasional monthly maintenance one after that.

Wearing colour can fill you with joy and sometimes you may feel drawn to a particular colour.
Today it's a blue day. .
Everything I'm wearing is from the High street- a mix of current and past seasons.
I like to mix up affordable High street fashion with the odd designer accessory.

Still keeping supple at age 64

Still keeping supple at age 64.

Not necessarily the most flattering position but hey... at least the body is still mobile, even with the left hip re-surfaced a few years ago and various other injuries.
.
For my fitness regime I try to do Pilates, mat or reformer, 3 times a week. Anything else is in addition or if I can't get to a Pilates class.
.
My Pilates posts aren't always real time so don't believe I am a fitness fanatic and exercising every single day - I'm not! .
If I'm in the Isle of Wight I love to horse ride on the beach.
.
I also do occasional dance classes which can help memory as well as fitness, as  concentration is needed to remember routines.
.
Boxing mixed with HIIT in the gym is great for cardio and fat burning and also concentration as I dont want to be punched on the nose  
.
.

Wearing denim on denim in the Jean Machine on the Kings Road Chelsea. Maybe 1970.
.
The denim shirt was studded. 
I added an YSL diamante star brooch which was a must have then. 
Chunky belt and chunky silver bracelet.
.
We used to pour ourselves into our jeans, the denim had no elastine added then.  We wore the smallest size possible and lay down on the floor using a coat hanger handle to pull up the zip or even asked someone for their help.
.
The Jean Machine back in the day was a super cool place and everyone came to buy their jeans there including celebrities who we all shamelessly pounced on to get them to be our customer as we were on commission for every jean sale. We all earned a lot of money on Saturdays for ourselves in cash and for the owners too! .
The photos weren't filtered.
We accepted our photos as they were, even if we didn't look perfect. Perfect wasn't an option.
.
No one would ever have considered taking photos or selfies then as we had no mobile phones only proper cameras,  and those were used for dedicated photography on holidays or occasions or proper photoshoots. Definitely not recording a day's random activities publicly. No one would have wanted their activities on public view at that time. Everyone was too badly behaved.
.
No-one had comparison anxiety then.
We might aspire to look like the models or actors in magazines, ads, films or TV. 
There were no reality TV stars. .
We may have wanted to be skinnier like the models or fit in a smaller pair of jeans, but no one judged our body shapes. .
Mental health or anxiety was never mentioned.
.
We lived in the moment and engaged with life around us. We were the generation that were no longer like our mothers tied by their apron strings to the kitchen and the home.
.
The world was our oyster.

This exercise is for the lower abs, core, glutes and also arms. .
To raise the intensity of the exercise the legs can be scissored lower just as my daughter is doing.

Back to a healthy eating lifestyle after having consumed quite a lot of everything I fancied over the weekend

Back to a healthy eating lifestyle after having consumed quite a lot of everything I fancied over the weekend.

So a sixteen hour gap after my 4pm last meal Sunday,  taking me to breakfast time today at around 10am after a pilates class.
.
Today's meals are
Tablespoon of Sauerkraut for gut health and to help digestion. 
Breakfast: eggs, avocado, tomatoes, spinach.
Lunch: organic chicken, onion, broccoli, cauliflower, sprouts.
Supper: cup of chicken broth from the rpasted chicken carcass. .

Sometimes you just have to! .
My Instagram posts are all about being real, no filters, being true to yourself and leading a healthy lifestyle with nutrition and fitness tips,  intermittent fasting, and healthy sugar free and wheat free recipes for a healthy gut.. .
However.....
.
When you're in Brighton at a brilliant fishy restaurant @thesaltroombrighton you have a day off. .
Sometimes a little of what you fancy is better than having those cravings and constantly denying yourself.
Life is for living and enjoying.
.
Dont beat yourself up after, enjoy the moment and every single mouthful and then go back to eating healthily the next day with maybe a 16/18 hour break before your first meal of the following day to give your digestive system time to recover.
.
This is a sharing pud..... "A taste of the Sea"
( and no it wasn't all for me) 
Candyfloss, rhubarb "99" ice cream, smoked salted fudge,  chocolate truffle pebble, apple and almond tart, passion fruit sours, chocolate and orange doughnut,, .
The picture on the bottom right is fish soup. It was served separately in a jug together with croutons, to be poured over a piece of octapus, roux and I think a piece of orange which were at the bottom of the bowl. .
It was absolutely delicious

Most women are so self-critical and often feel they are not enough. But they are and should allow themselves to be who they are. 
That is why Bryony's Instagram is always real and never filtered and so is mine too- hopefully to inspire women of all ages.
Never to try to be something they are not. 
Be individual and unique.

Back in neutral.
Core engaged.
Legs in tabletop.
Arms strong and LATS engaged. 
This flat rectangular muscle of the back helps the arms rotate as well as move away from and toward the body.
It also is the muscle that can help tone that annoying fatty area that hangs over the bra sides. .
