Every so often we all need a digital detox

Every so often we all need a digital detox.
.
Even if we don't feel or have social media comparison anxiety, we can still feel a need to post daily so we don't lose followers, and our followers don't lose interest.
.
So if I don't post every day, please don't get bored and disappear. .
My Instafeed is real, not filtered, hoping to inspire, and may not always be real time as I'm not out every day and night. .
I'm often in many evenings on my own watching TV. My life can even be quite boring, mundane and even lonely. .
That is something that most people would not want to admit on their social media.
.
I'm currently in the middle of writing a novel which is nearly finished, and that requires huge discipline, no distractions, sitting at my laptop with all emails and social media switched off.
.
So today I've posted a bare-faced, no-make-up  selfie pic of my 64 year old me. Just as I am. No filters. This is me. .

Still keeping supple at age 64

Still keeping supple at age 64.
.
Not necessarily the most flattering position but hey... at least the body is still mobile, even with the left hip re-surfaced a few years ago and various other injuries.
.
For my fitness regime I try to do Pilates, mat or reformer, 3 times a week. Anything else is in addition or if I can't get to a Pilates class.
.
My Pilates posts aren't always real time so don't believe I am a fitness fanatic and exercising every single day - I'm not! .
If I'm in the Isle of Wight I love to horse ride on the beach.
.
I also do occasional dance classes which can help memory as well as fitness, as  concentration is needed to remember routines.
.
Boxing mixed with HIIT in the gym is great for cardio and fat burning and also concentration as I dont want to be punched on the nose  
.

.
