Grilled Squid Steak with squid ink, roasted beetroot, salad
Grilled over charcoal and served with a yuzu lime, szechwan pepper, lemongrass & galangal dressing.
And ‘Merus’ from the largest part of the crab leg grilled with butter and hollandaise sauce with triple cooked fries ( I didnt eat them).
With a side of Steamed Kale Roasted anchovy & bone marrow butter
Definitely not starved!
Braised chicken thighs(protein) with fennel (a diuretic) orange and red onion puree in the ‘swoosh’ , tomato dressing, romesco dip, blanched vegs, and a side ( not photographed) of sauteed kale with cashew nuts.(good carbs and protein)
Poached eggs on toast with smashed avocado witj chilli and an espresso today.
Usually my lowcarb and protein breakfasts are wheatfree but today I really fancied a slice of granary toast
