The best puds are usually chocolate!
This one we just had at dinner tonight

A chocolate cremeux with almond essence and chocolate panna cotta. Beyond yum! So naughty but sometimes you just have to.
Life is for living. Tomorrow is another day.
And weekdays can be for the healthier low carb sugar and wheat free lifestyle. .

Scrambled eggs with organic butter, wilted spinach, and smashed avocado on seeded multigrain toast. A nutritious breakfast to keep you feeling fuller longer with less blood sugar highs and lows.
12 hours since last meal and this 1st meal of the day to help digestion.
I start the day with warm lemon water and then a small swig of Kefir with a liquid multi-vitamin mixed in with it. All fermented foods help to promote good gut health.

Complex carbs take longer to digest than simple carbs helping you to feel fuller longer with less blood sugar spikes keeping your energy levels constant. Especially when you got up to work at 5.30am and feel like you’ve had a whole day by midday!
2 organic eggs (protein) fried in Waitrose bought organic butter, ( good fats) organic multigrain and wholewheat bread ( complex carbs) from the local bakery.
Streaky Duchy of Cornwall free range bacon ( protein)
Wilted spinach ( great spurce of iron)
Avocado (oddly it’s a fruit and is also full of good fats )
Some fat in your diet is good for you and also helps you feel fuller longer. .

My human’s breakfast is the healthier one of the two on the table with the poached eggs(protein) with smashed avocado(good fats) on granary toast(complex carbs-low glycaemic index that helos keep blood sugar levels more constant) and crispy bacon( protein). And an Espresso coffee
The other is eggs Benedict (white muffin-simple carbs-not so good has a high Glycaemic index which creates blood sugar spikes) hollandaise sauce-eggs and olive oil protein and good fats if made with extra virgin olive oil- not made with a mix of processed and refined oils). And an Americano coffee. The black expresso is a better option. .

My supper party last night was a gaspacho starter with added chopped cucumber and croutons to add texture to the cold soup.
Then this home-cooked paella.
The rice was cooked in shellfish stock (lobster, mussels, chicken, garlic and onions in the vegetable water stock), and chicken thighs roasted first with crispy skin, chorizo, prawns, mussels, squid, and some sliced peppers to decorate.
I served it with a green salad.
Cheeses and strawberries and cream for pud.

Eggs from the local farm shop chickens, seeded wholemeal bread from the Island Bakery with rather a generous spread of organic butter, wilted spinach, beef tomato slices, avocado and mushrooms.
I always eat breakfast or brunch straight after working out, or doing any fitness or exercise. Healthy mix of carbs and protein and good fats. .
