As it's Wimbledon fortnight I thought I'd continue posting some more images of past Wimbledon champions styled by me.

Anna Kournikova aged 18, styled by me in Berlin. She'd refused to participate in my photoshoot when requested in advance from London.
However when she saw Polaroids of other players from my day's photoshoot she loved their photos, and unexpectedly turned up at the end of the shoot with most of her Russian family members. There were a lot of them.

She loved the Escada dress I chose for her to wear and the Bvlgari diamonds.
As she had come straight from the Berlin open tennis tournament all she had with her was her sports bra and no other suitable bra to wear with the dress and she was very keen on having lots of cleavage showing.

The only bra I had with me was a "Wonderbra' ( if you remember the Eva Herzigova "Hello Boys" wonderbra ad ) plunge bra of my own in my suitcase which I of course lent her.
She still wanted more cleavage, so I obliged using contour shading.

She was to be on a magazine cover as the editor loved the photo of her so much. However her L.A. agents were less than pleased when they saw the photos as no one knew that she was about to be endorse and be advertising a sports bra which apparently made her cleavage innapropriate at that time. Who was to know this?! So we were not allowed to use the full length photo, hence the cropped head shot which ended up as the magazine cover photo. The full length photo was never used.
