Nesse is a brilliant pilates and barre teacher.
I am 65 and try to keep myself fit and healthy.

In life before Covid19 I spoke on radio, TV and in schools and organisations on mental wellness, social media, positive body image, first impressions and healthy eating (I have a nutrition diploma) health, beauty, lifechange and personal image and style. (I was a celebrity stylist for A list stars for 30 years) .

Nesse and I are going to be chatting together at 10am tomorrow –
and answering your questions on any subjects you ask us:
From menopause to men,
Healthy diet or current lifestyle dilemmas
And
pilates to positivity.

before Nesse and I host a Zoom fun Pilates class the following Monday for anyone who is age 50 plus and would still like to keep fit. .

When you want to become the healthiest version of yourself, especially in these flu-ridden times- then an appointment with the completely brilliant and empathetic nutritionist and Doctor- Dr Vidhi @smilingvidhi @johnbellandcroyden Is the way to go

I cannot recommend Dr Vidhi more highly.
I’ve just had my second appointment with her.

She is not only a Western medicine doctor but also a homeopathic one as well as an Ayurverdic one. So she can treat you on so many levels.

Dr Vidhi also uses an EIS sensor analyser machine which passes a low voltage electrical current through the tissue fluid that surrounds cells tissues and organs whilst also working as an ECG electrocardiogram checking your heart.
This machine does not give actual blood and hormone analysis figures- but it does give indications via graphs of where your specific problems may or may not lie.

It reads your Interstitial fluid minerals including Phosphorous, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium and iron.

It reads 12 hormones including thyroid and cortisol and insulin . .
Your acid/alkaline balance. .
Your biochemistry which includes your triglycerides- fats in the body ( which include HDL – good cholesterol) and LDL and kidney health and glucose or sugar found in the body.

Also oxidative stress and a whole organ/ systems analysis from cardiovascular to digestive,, endocrine, immune function, neurolgical, neuromuscular, respiratory and body composition.

It even checks for cancer markers.

Totally impressive. Cannot recommend Dr Vidhi more highly. She has helped me with other recent health and digestive issues better than any other doctor, consultant, or gastroenterologist has managed.

This was my super-healthy protein and good carbs breakfast today consisting of purple sprouting broccoli, purple sweet potatoes and organic eggs with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. .
All brightly coloured fruit and vegetables contain antioxidants – compounds which play a key role in protecting our bodies – and many naturally purple-coloured foods contain an antioxidant called anthocyanin. This is a beneficial plant pigment which gives fruit and veg their deep red, purple or blue hues.

The two items I couldn't live without in the kitchen this Summer were:
My @zerowateruk filter jug to filter my tap water making it taste as good as the bottled water I used to buy daily, and also in my opinion filtering more efficiently than other filter jug brands.
And
My Lavazza coffee machine for my morning expressos and guests' capuccinos.

What are your kitchen must haves? .
Btw...
It's always good to drink a glass of water together with every cup of coffee.
Coffee is a diuretic.
When diuretics flush away sodium, the body also flushes away water, dehydrating the body. .
