Tomorrow I’ll be hosting my “Discover The New You” workshop at the Warner Leisure Littlecote House Hotel in Berkshire. In my styling masterclasses I transform the image and self-perception of ‘real’ men and women of all ages by showing how to dress to suit your bodyshape and offering style hints and tips to last a lifetime. Dressing to flatter your bodyshape is important when you are having an image transformation as it boosts confidence and makes you look and feel your best.

Interview about London Fashion Week on LBC radio at 3.30pm

Not only will I be on QVC today but at 3.30pm I’ll be chatting to Kevin Maguire on LBC radio (97.3FM and online). As you may know, London Fashion Week begins today and I’ll be discussing the importance of this huge event in the fashion calendar, as well as giving my views on fashion faux pas and current high street and catwalk trends.

So busy at the moment but will hopefully have time to go and see some of the London Fashion Week shows!

QVC TV shopping channel with Bob Mackie Wearable Art

Appearing on QVC TV shopping channel with Bob Mackie. Four shows today at 9am, 11am, 5pm and 11pm.

Looking forward to the shows! The styles are so flattering for women of all body shapes and ages. They make women not only look great but feel confident too – clothes to get you noticed!

By the way, the outfit that Cher wore again after 20 years at the MTV Video Music awards was a Bob Mackie classic. She looked great then and still does now. Wish I could get into all my clothes of 20 years ago… well maybe with a bit of extra help I could – my redcarpetundies.com shapewear, and probably some liposuction…

BBC Radio Oxford and my private styling session

This morning I was interviewed on BBC Radio Oxford by Joel Hammer about designers helping to promote a healthy body image by casting ‘normal-size’ models in their fashion shows. As a stylist I know that every person has the ability to look their best, whatever size they are; it’s all about dressing to suit your body shape.

The popular TV series Mad Men, starring the curvaceous Christina Hendricks, has resulted in this season’s trend reviving the fifties’ style of cinched waists and beautiful bosoms. BBC Radio Oxford interview at 10.15am with Joel Hammer

Tomorrow morning on BBC Radio Oxford I’ll be discussing the casting of ‘normal-size’ models in fashion shows. This hot topic has had a lot of attention this week following the announcement that New York Fashion Week is allowing larger models onto the catwalk in an effort to showcase ‘real women’ shoppers. Today in the UK, high street retailers New Look and M&S have also declared that they will follow suit and feature size 14 models at the upcoming Look Show at the Saatchi gallery in Chelsea. The show is due to coincide with the start of London Fashion Week and will feature top ‘plus-size’ model Crystal Renn attired in size 14 clothes from such retailers as Oasis and French Connection.

Be sure to tune in to 95.2FM BBC Radio Oxford tomorrow when I’ll be giving my opinion on whether clothes look better on slimmer frames and what I really think about advertisers who insist on using size 6 models. This groundbreaking development in the world of fashion is sure to spark an interesting discussion tomorrow, don’t miss it!
