Chatting on BBC Radio Berkshire about the Royal Enclosure at Royal Ascot racing 2017 style and fashion rules. Having been the BBC TV fashion and style reporter from Royal Ascot races myself a few years ago and also a regular Royal Ascot Royal Enclosure attendee for many years I have watched how the fashion style rules and regulations have evolved and often now ignored
So now Royal Ascot authority has re-issued their style criteria to help maintain fashion and style standards. This year the rules include allowing a jumpsuit which must however be full length.
The last time anything as dramatic as this happened was in the ’70’s when trouser suits were allowed for the first time ever.
Please click on the link below to hear me on BBC Radio on the seemingly divisive topic of those Amanda Wakeley £900 leather trousers as worn by Theresa May for the Sunday Times Style photoshoot.
Are leather trousers suitable for a Prime Minister’s wardrobe?
What sort of message is she sending out with her personal style choices?
Should she be wearing Designer clothes with a high price tag?
What do your clothes say about you? What messages do they send out?
When you are in the public eye, is what you wear important?
Would we be discussing a male politician’s wardrobe so critically?
The Solgar press event this week showcased their latest vitamin range for joint and bone fitness and wellness. It was really interesting to listen to the nutritionist Paul Chamberlain about the science behind this range and why Solgar have launched these new products to help us achieve our fitness potential., Celebrity personal trainer Laura Williams also chatted to us on her thoughts on 2017 health and fitness trends.
It’s very interesting that the latest buzzword of healthy ingredients in the culinary world is Turmeric. Turmeric is well known to help reduce inflammation in the body.

Solgar Ultimate Bone Support provide the key minerals calcium and magnesium with the vitamin K2 and D3 helping the absorption and support for bone building and support. (£22.99 for 120 tablets)
All these products are really interesting to me as someone who at 60 years old regularly participates in many sports from horse riding to dancing, and already has had significant cartilage wear and tear from being a ballet dancer in my youth.
I am excited to try out these vitamins especially the Solgar 7 as it was shown to have had significantly positive results on a testers over a 90 day period.
