Channel 5 TV. Live from Studio 5

We filmed a segment for Channel 5 TV’s “Live from Studio 5” in the amazing “treasure trove” emporium of Butler and Wilson jewellery and vintage clothing store on the Fulham road.

My remit was to style the really pretty presenter Minnie Stephenson for a Red carpet event and chat about some of the famous celebrities I had styled in the past, with some funny anecdotes that had happened to me along the way.

when styling Celebrities or indeed any of my clients, I always take their own style into consideration- never imposing my own style on them and I loved Minnie’s own style. She was wearing a girly pink very short Summer dress over leggings, and a denim sleeveless waistcoat and great Office turquoise wedge sandals.

With Minnie’s own style as a template, and with only a short space of time to select, I selected 3 vintage evening dresses with a difference for Minnie to try. 2 out of the 3 fitted her like a glove and looked fantastic. She loved them too.

You can catch us having fun on Channel 5 sometime during this next week of June 7th.

A clever new site!- www.mylastsong.com

I came across across a clever new site this week. Not one that we’d find “sexy” but certainly one that would be useful to all of us as we reach middle age and beyond

We all hate thinking about our own mortality and that of our loved ones but this site addresses all these issues and helps you with all the things you might need to plan for on your death- from the will to the funeral, the flowers to the caterer. Even all sorts of music to choose from- hence the name of the site-“mylastsong”. Once you’ve made your choices, you can store it all safely in a vault on the site.

check it out…. www.mylastsong.com

my ongoing diet with nutritionist Steve

p>I’ve been so busy that I’ve had no time to update my diet progress with nutritionist Steve, but it’s now 2 weeks since my last review and I can reveal that I had a bit of a blip over the Bank Holiday weekend. After vigorously following Steve’s instructions- “eat like a caveman”- only protein and vegs, I was allowed to add berries into the meal times- twice a day. That was very exciting, but even more exciting I could now have a “cheat” day, once a week, eating anything I wished!

But… when in the Isle of Wight and invited out to Supper and then a Sunday lunch it was all too easy to turn a cheat day into a cheat weekend… and unfortunately my weigh-in was on the next day, so progress was slightly slowed down!

Now I am on a treat “cheat meal” once a week and adding 2 portions of low-GI fruits to my berries. I am still on protein and vegs- no carbs and no other cheating!
So how much have I lost now?….

4% of body fat
2.5″ from my tum
1.25″ from my hips
and not disclosing my weight yet but its slowly going down.

By the way did I mention that Steve is the nutritionist for Fulham football team and they’ve been rather successful recently! Maybe I might reach the same fitness level too!….still got quite a while to go I feel.

If you quote “ceril” and email to [email protected], Steve will give you a special VIP discount on your own personalised weight loss programme!
