A selection of my favourite makeup brushes and products from @primark

A selection of my favourite makeup brushes and products from @primark.beauty . I was browsing in Primark Oxford st and checked out their new beauty products which apparently have had a recent significent financial investment. I was really impressed with their makeup brushes which I then bought for a transgender MTF client so she could experiment with her newly learnt makeup application techiques, taught by me, with these brilliant inexpensive makeup tools. The brush prices ranged from £1-£2.50 and were excellent in both texture and balance between softness and firmness for application and blending away. The key to a good make application is blending and blending away. Its not all about countouring as seen in so many airbrushed insta MUA posts. It's so important to be able to blend away, especially for a trans girl who may still be covering her remaining beard growth during her laser/electrolysis/hormone treatments with layers of concealer products, foundation and powdering to set. However blending away is important for all girls whether it's eyeshadow, foundation, concealer or blusher. . . The brushes shown here include double ended brushes: Angled eyebrow brush Eyeshadow and concealer brush Apply and blend brush Foundation and concealer brush Powder and finish brush And Blender sponge Mattifying powder And an artist palette of eyeshadows. Great makeup tools for starting out. Total £29! ( i doubled up on some of the brushes for my client) . . . .

At Isle of Wight UK Pride 2018

At Isle of Wight UK Pride 2018. What a brilliant fun and happy day for everyone there and especially the organisers to have made such a big event (15k people) to have run so smoothly and successfully. My healthy version of the ” full English” breakfast

My healthy version of the " full English" breakfast. Complex carbs take longer to digest than simple carbs helping you to feel fuller longer with less blood sugar spikes keeping your energy levels constant. Especially when you got up to work at 5.30am and feel like you've had a whole day by midday! 2 organic eggs (protein) fried in Waitrose bought organic butter, ( good fats) organic multigrain and wholewheat bread ( complex carbs) from the local bakery. Streaky Duchy of Cornwall free range bacon ( protein) Wilted spinach ( great spurce of iron) Avocado (oddly it's a fruit and is also full of good fats ) Some fat in your diet is good for you and also helps you feel fuller longer. . . . #,lifestyle

Whether I'm helping clients with their wardrobe, colours, body image and self-confidence, body shape, first impressions, body language, healthy diet and nutrition, exercise, make up for women, makeup for men and more. Eyebrows and eyebrow shaping are so important and make so much difference to your face. I tweezed first to shape and then extended and added missing brow hairs. I covered the beard and uneven skin tones, and shaded cheekbones with a contour kit. . . @jamiebuckley5234

Early morning beach walk time. For a healthy gut which helps you to be healthy overall, if you leave 12 hours between your last evening meal and your breakfast/brunch/first meal of the day you are giving your digestive system a chance to digest and rest. Take your exercise before this first meal of the day. 20 mins fast walking or 20 mins HIT exercise will help your weightloss programme.. . . . . .

Selfie on the way to a 50th birthday party- dress code ‘blue’

Selfie on the way to a 50th birthday party- dress code 'blue'. I've had this tie-dye turquoise silk slip dress for 20 years ( bought in a sample sale). It's my go-to Summer dress to dress up or down and take on holidays as it rolls up into a tiny nothing. I wore it with flat sandals as the party was at a farm house in a field in a fabulous Moroccan style marquee with very uneven ground that required major concentration and definitely no heels to safely navigate across and dance. It was a great party. . . . . . . #
