Every so often we all need a digital detox.

Even if we don’t feel or have social media comparison anxiety, we can still feel a need to post daily so we don’t lose followers, and our followers don’t lose interest.

So if I don’t post every day, please don’t get bored and disappear. .
My Instafeed is real, not filtered, hoping to inspire, and may not always be real time as I’m not out every day and night. .
I’m often in many evenings on my own watching TV. My life can even be quite boring, mundane and even lonely. .
That is something that most people would not want to admit on their social media.

I’m currently in the middle of writing a novel which is nearly finished, and that requires huge discipline, no distractions, sitting at my laptop with all emails and social media switched off.

So today I’ve posted a bare-faced, no-make-up selfie pic of my 64 year old me. Just as I am. No filters. This is me. .

It’s pouring with rain today but yesterday was beautiful and all that was needed for the best sun protection was a big floppy hat, sunglasses and Altruist factor 50 sunscreen for the face, and Altruist factor 30 for the body as seen with @misslucy_lou

First day in the gym with personal trainer John.
You will see my efforts in future posts…
A mix of HIIT and strengthening exercises particularly for the quads.
The glutes and hamstrings and core and are working well together from my pilates fitness..

What was it that French man Jann Moix wrote today about women over 50 being too old to love? And that women in their 20s are the only ones worth dating.
Well I’m 64 and still going strong so he’s talking a load of old tosh.

5:2 style fast day- No breakfast, but eating a proper lunch and then just a bone broth for supper. Starting each meal with a tablespoon of fermented sauerkraut and shot of digestive enzyme.
.
Morning walk, abdominal massage, talk on the importance of good fats in your diet ( which are good and bad fats) and where best to source the good ones. .
Pilates class this afternoon and a meditation before the cup of evening bone broth.
