When life offers you an opportunity outside your comfort zone seize it with both hands and go for it.
.
I have just done this. .
Many of my age would not. I’m 64. They would say ” You’re brave, I wouldn’t do this, but well done.” .
Watch this space. .
I am going to be part of an exciting campaign that is something I would never have considered doing a few years ago. .
I’m braver now and I have to walk the walk and talk the talk if I am going to inspire and bang on about positive body image, confidence and being yourself whatever age, shape or size you are with no filters. .
Be bold. Be brave. Be you.

Thought for the day
Happy face
Haircut day. No make-up selfie. No filters.
.
Thank you @andyatagency as always.
Thank you @chanelnott for my blondeness.
Love my 2 favourite hairdressers.

As you get older often shorter hair cuts can be more flattering as they frame and lift the face instead of the impression of dragging down.. Also the correct hair colour tone is very important too as it can make so much difference to flattering or draining your skin tones. .

These photos are pre-social media when there were no filters on photos and no pressures to look a certain way. .
Of course there were those who were skinny too and those who were fat but no-one judged or had anywhere to post photos that weren’t real. The only place to post a photo was in a personal photo album which stayed in your living room. .
No-one exercised, worked out or went to gyms in the same ‘addicted to fitness’ way so our bodies were a different shape and less toned than gym bodies of nowadays. .
Maybe we did ballet or horse riding or swam or did some form of sport at school and beyond but only for our personal enjoyment. Not with the same end goals to have the perfect Instagram body. .
We didn’t compare or judge.
No pressures to look a certain way.
We were happier and more confident in our body image then.
Free to be who we were. .
