Bone broth making.

In the glass bowl is the one I made earlier from my roasted poussin supper last night.
Boiling the poussin bones with onions garlic celery carrots.
In the slow cooker is a beef bone rib , part of which was lunch today. Again simmering with shallots garlic celery and a carrot.

Sometimes when you fancy an instant homemade curry

Sometimes when you fancy an instant homemade curry.

Found this packet curry soup in the Health food shop which had all natural ingredients, no additives wheat or sugar and was properly delicious. 
I simply added boiled water to the powder. 
It had turmeric, cumin and chiĺli, all excellent anti-inflammatory spices and great for health and weight loss.
To make the soup more of a substantial supper I added some cauliflower, broccoli and spinach and cashew nuts.

Protein for breakfast for a healthy start to the day.

Spinach and cheese omelette , with organic eggs, organic spinach leaves and unpasteurised Gruyere cooked in organic unpasteurised butter.
Protein, good complex carbs and good fats for optimum weightloss together with HIIT exercise and 16/18 twice weekly fast days.
Aged and unpasteurised cheese and fermented foods also good for gut health -(but avoid unpasteurised snd soft cheeses if pregnant).

My homemade beef bone broth for Sunday Night supper

My homemade beef bone broth for Sunday Night supper.

When I'm by the seaside I'm permanently hungry! It must be the sea air. 
So the next 2 days will have 16 hour breaks between the last broth at 6pm and breakfast the following day which willl be at 10am after an exercise class. So basically squeezing 2 proper protein and healthy complex carb meals into an 8 hour period.
The bone broth was cooked from grass fed beef short ribs which had been previously slow cooked with vegetables, onions and garlic as a dinner the day before.

Grilled Squid Steak with squid ink, roasted beetroot, salad
Grilled over charcoal and served with a yuzu lime, szechwan pepper, lemongrass & galangal dressing.
And 'Merus' from the largest part of the crab leg grilled with butter and hollandaise sauce with triple cooked fries ( I didnt eat them).
With a side of Steamed Kale Roasted anchovy & bone marrow butter
Just delcious!
