Breakfast for three on the beach- my human, her friend and me. 
My human's breakfast is the healthier one of the two on the table with the poached eggs(protein) with smashed avocado(good fats) on granary toast(complex carbs-low glycaemic index that helos keep blood sugar levels more constant) and crispy bacon( protein). And an Espresso coffee 
The other is eggs Benedict (white muffin-simple carbs-not so good has a high Glycaemic index which creates blood sugar spikes) hollandaise sauce-eggs and olive oil protein and good fats if made with extra virgin olive oil- not made with a mix of processed and refined oils). And an Americano coffee. The black expresso is a better option. .

Midday today, 16 hours after yesterday evening's last meal at 8pm.  The 16hour fasting time gives the gut and body time to have a break from digesting food and if continued 2 days consecutively can help weight loss, gut health and overall wellbeing.

My home-cooked meat-free veggie Bank Holiday weekend cooked breakfast.

Eggs from the local farm shop chickens, seeded wholemeal bread from the Island Bakery with rather a generous spread of organic butter, wilted spinach, beef tomato slices, avocado and mushrooms.

I always eat breakfast or brunch straight after working out, or doing any fitness or exercise.  Healthy mix of carbs and protein and good fats. .

Organic salmon fillet shallow-fried in organic butter so that the skin goes crispy (start flesh side down) will only take 5 minutes to cook.
On a bed of leaves with avocado and cucumber.
Eating at least 3 portions of oily fish gives you Omega3 fatty acids essential for a healthy brain, heart and eyes.

Crab and courgette spaghetti with chilli and rocket.

Crabmeat with spiralized or courgette strips with spaghetti, olive oil, lemon juice and chillies and rocket leaves.

Mixing spaghetti with courgettes and leaves helps the dish become more nutritionally balanced and to last longer as fuel for  your body.

Courgettes and leaves are healthy low carb foods and crab is protein. Less heathy processed white flour foods such as pasta are carbs which are processed by the body turning quickly into sugar. 
When pasta is only eaten in a small quantity and mixed with healthy options it helps slow down the blood sugar high and low caused by high glycaemic food such as pasta and other refined white flour foods.

Low carb and protein Thai lunch on London's Kings road Chelsea. My favourite little cafe with Thai street food. Yummy healthy and inexpensive. I always ask the rice noodles to be replaced with vegetables so they add extra broccoli and leaves. 
The base ingredient of a Laksa is coconut milk which has loads of health benefits:
